Add the router (4G or LAN)
This article describes the configuration of a router (4G or LAN) on the Climkit Platform.
For connection planning, or for installing the device on site, refer to the links at the end of the article.
Registering a router (4G or LAN) on the Climkit Platform
All routers delivered by Climkit are preconfigured.
4G Routers are delivered with an active SIM card.
The operation can be performed before or after the installation of the device.
- Log in to app.climkit.io and open the corresponding Site. If necessary, create a new Site.
- Go to
EQUIPMENT > Communication > Routers. Click on the "+" to add a new router. - Enter the
SERIAL(serial number) andLAN MAC(MAC address) numbers of the router in the form, then click Save.
Cloud Gateway (MQTT) Configuration
When a router is added to a Site, a virtual Cloud Gateway is automatically created in the “Gateways” tab.
If the electricity meters need to be read via the Cloud Gateway, simply add the meters directly to it.
Otherwise, if a Climkit Gateway is planned to be used, refer to the procedure Adding the Climkit Gateway to the platform.
