Install a LAN router
This article describes the on-site installation of the LAN router. Configuration on the Climkit platform is also required for the equipment to function. Links are available at the end of the document.
On-site Router Installation
- The LAN router RUT301 must be connected to the Internet Service Provider's router. Connect an RJ45 Ethernet cable from an LAN port on the provider's router to the router's WAN port.
- Connect the router's power supply cable to the 24V AC/DC power supply and plug the black square plug into the device's PWR port.
- Connect the Climkit gateway or the RS485-Ethernet converter to one of the RJ45 Ethernet LAN ports of the LAN router. If using an Ethernet switch, connect the router directly to it.
