Install the LAN router
This article describes the on-site installation of the LAN router. For the equipment to work, configuration on the Climkit platform is also required. Links are available at the end of the document.
On-site router installation
- The RUT301 LAN router must be connected to the internet service provider's router. Connect an RJ45 Ethernet cable from a LAN port on the provider's router to the WAN port on the router.
- Connect the router's power supply cable to the 24V AC/DC power supply and plug the square black connector into the PWR port of the device.
- Connect the Climkit Gateway or the RS485-Ethernet converter to one of the RJ45 Ethernet LAN ports of the LAN router. If using an Ethernet switch, connect the router directly to it.
