Install the LAN router
This article describes the on-site installation of the LAN router. For the Equipment to function, configuration on the Climkit Platform is also required. Links are available at the end of the document.
Installation of the router on site
- The RUT301 LAN router must be connected to the internet service provider's router. Connect an RJ45 Ethernet cable from a LAN port of the provider's router to the WAN port of the router.
- Connect the router's power supply cable to the 24V AC/DC power supply and plug the black square connector into the PWR port of the device.
- Connect the Climkit Gateway or the RS485-Ethernet converter to one of the RJ45 Ethernet LAN ports of the LAN router. If using an Ethernet switch, connect the router directly to it.
