Add the router (4G or LAN)
This article describes the configuration of a router (4G or LAN) on the Climkit Platform.
For connection planning or for device installation on Site, refer to the links at the end of the article.
Registering a Router (4G or LAN) on the Climkit Platform
All routers delivered by Climkit are preconfigured.
4G Routers are delivered with an active SIM card.
The operation can be performed before or after the Equipment installation.
- Log in to app.climkit.io and open the corresponding Site. If necessary, create a new Site.
- Go to
EQUIPMENT > Communication > Routers. Click on the "+" to add a new router. - Enter the
SERIALnumbers (Serial number) andLAN MAC(MAC address) of the router in the form, then click Save.
Cloud Gateway Configuration (MQTT)
When a router is added to a Site, a virtual Cloud Gateway is automatically created in the "Gateways" Tab.
If the Electricity meters must be read via the Cloud Gateway, simply add the Meters directly to it.
Otherwise, if it is planned to use a Climkit Gateway, refer to the procedure Adding the Climkit Gateway to the Platform.
