Adding the Climkit Gateway
This article describes the configuration of a Climkit Gateway on the Climkit platform.
For connection planning or on-site equipment installation, please refer to the links at the end of the article.
Climkit Gateway Registration
All Climkit Gateways are delivered pre-configured.
Do not confuse with Cloud Gateways which are automatically added to the site during the addition of a router.
This operation can be performed before or after the equipment is installed.
- Log in to app.climkit.io and open the corresponding site. If necessary, create a new site.
- Go to
EQUIPMENT > Communication > Gateways. Click on the "+" to add a new Gateway. - Enter the Gateway serial number (
SN) and MAC address (MAC ADDRESS) in the form, then click Save. - Do not enable the "Create a new Gateway" setting if the label with the serial number and MAC address is affixed to the Gateway. The numbers are shown on the packaging and on the physical device. They can also be obtained by scanning the QR code.
