Adding an OCPP Remote Charging Station
This article describes the configuration of an OCPP Remote charging station on the Climkit platform.
For connection planning, or for on-site device installation, please refer to the links at the end of the article.
Registration of an OCPP Remote charging station
When no Climkit Gateway is installed, a station can be connected directly to the portal via the remote OCPP server.
This configuration is mandatory for Easee or Zaptec stations, which cannot be locally connected to a Climkit Gateway.
This configuration allows:
- user authentication via RFID badges
- consumption billing
It does not allow Dynamic Load Management (DLM), which absolutely requires a Climkit Gateway.
Station configuration
Enter the Climkit Remote OCPP server URL in the station settings:
ws://ocpp.climkit.io:9000
Adding the station to the platform
- Create a Gateway of type
ocpp-remote - Create the station by entering its OCPP identifier
- Link the station to the ocpp-remote Gateway
- Repeat steps 2 and 3 for the other stations.
