Adding the Climkit Gateway
This article describes the configuration of a Climkit Gateway on the Climkit platform.
For connection planning or on-site device installation, refer to the links at the end of the article.
Registration of the Climkit Gateway
All Climkit Gateways are delivered preconfigured.
Do not confuse with Cloud Gateways, which are automatically added to the site when adding a router.
The operation can be performed before or after the device installation.
- Log in to app.climkit.io and open the corresponding site. If necessary, create a new site.
- Go to
EQUIPMENT > Communication > Gateways. Click on the "+" to add a new Gateway. - Enter the serial number (
SN) and the MAC address (MAC ADDRESS) of the Gateway in the form, then click Save. - Do not activate the "Create a new Gateway" setting if the label with the serial number and MAC address is affixed to the Gateway. The numbers are displayed on the packaging and on the device. It is also possible to obtain them by scanning the QR code.
