Save the battery info

This article describes the configuration of a battery on the Climkit platform.

For connection planning, or to go further, refer to the links at the end of the article.

Procedure for registering a battery on the Climkit platform

Providing the parameters for the site's battery or batteries is necessary to monitor their performance. This information allows for comparing the storage potential with the energy actually stored.

  1. Under Site > Parameters > Equipment: check Battery
  2. Under Equipment > Other equipment > Battery Click on the (+) button to add a battery and fill in the following fields:
    1. Name (location): Title of the battery or its location.
    2. Capacity (kWh): Capacity of the battery in kWh.
    3. Charging power (kW): nominal charging capacity of the battery in kW. If the power is restricted compared to the maximum power, enter the restricted power.
    4. Type of connection (coupling):
      1. AC: the battery is equipped with its own AC -> DC converter for charging and its own DC -> AC inverter for discharging.
      2. DC: the battery is connected directly to the hybrid photovoltaic inverter which also manages the charging and discharging of the battery.
    5. Battery meter: select the meter to which the battery is connected. Only for batteries connected in AC.
  3. Repeat step 2 above for each of the batteries connected behind a dedicated battery meter.
