Registering the photovoltaic installation information

This article describes the configuration of a Photovoltaic installation on the Climkit platform.

For electrical grid connection planning, please refer to the links at the end of the article.

Registration of a Photovoltaic Installation

The parameters of the site's Photovoltaic installation(s) allow for monitoring their operation during the operational phase and comparing the daily production potential with the actually measured production.

  1. Under Site > Parameters > Equipment: check Solar PV
  2. Under Equipment > Other Equipment > Solar PV: Click the (+) button to add a PV installation and fill in the following fields:
    1. Name (Location): Title of the installation or its location, e.g., Building A Roof.
    2. DC Power (kWp): Total DC power in kWp, i.e., the number of Photovoltaic modules multiplied by their nominal power.
    3. Max AC Power (kVA): Maximum AC power of the inverter. If the inverter is throttled, enter the throttled value.
    4. Production Meter: Select the meter to which the PV inverter is connected.
    5. Tilt (between 0° and 90°): Enter the average tilt of the panel field, with 90° corresponding to the vertical position.
    6. North Orientation (180° = South): Enter the average orientation of the panel field, with 0° corresponding to North. In the case of two fields (East and West), enter the average of the two orientations.
  3. Repeat operation 2 above for each PV installation connected behind a dedicated production meter.
