Install the RFID reader
This article describes the on-site installation of RFID readers. For the equipment to work, a configuration on the Climkit platform is also required. Links are available at the end of the document.
Installation of an RFID badge reader
- Open the front panel of the badge reader using the 4 Phillips screws.
- Fix the box to the wall and drill a hole for the Ethernet/RJ45 cable.
- Connect the RJ45 plug to the device port and to the PoE switch.
- Reassemble the front panel of the device, checking that the seal is correctly positioned.
