Install an RFID badge reader
This article describes the on-site installation of RFID readers. For the equipment to function, configuration on the Climkit platform is also required. Links are available at the end of the document.
Installation of an RFID badge reader
- Open the front panel of the badge reader using the 4 cross-head screws.
- Attach the housing to the wall and drill a hole for routing the Ethernet/RJ45 cable.
- Connect the RJ45 plug to the device port and the PoE switch.
- Reassemble the device's front panel, ensuring the sealing gasket is correctly positioned.
