Install the RFID reader
This article describes the on-site installation of RFID readers. For the equipment to function, a configuration on the Climkit platform is also required. Links are available at the end of the document.
Installation of an RFID badge reader
- Open the front cover of the badge reader using the 4 Phillips screws.
- Fix the housing to the wall and drill a hole for the Ethernet/RJ45 cable passage.
- Plug the RJ45 connector into the device port and the PoE switch.
- Reassemble the front cover of the device, ensuring the seal is correctly positioned.
