Add a router to a site

4G Router and LAN Router

All routers supplied by Climkit are pre-configured. 4G routers are supplied with an active SIM card.

Here is how to associate a router with a site. This can be done before or after the device has been installed and connected.

  1. Log in to app.climkit.io and open the corresponding site. If necessary, create a new site.
  2. Go to EQUIPMENT > Communication > Routers. Click on the "+" to add a new router.
  3. Enter the router's SERIAL (Serial number) and LAN MAC (MAC address) numbers in the form and click Save.
    The numbers are displayed on the packaging and on the device. They can also be obtained via the QR code.

Cloud Gateway Configuration (MQTT)

All supplied routers are pre-configured as a Cloud Gateway, even if this feature is not intended to be used.

When the router is added to a site, a Cloud Gateway (MQTT) is also automatically added. See under Configuration > Hardware.

Then, simply add the meters to this gateway.
