1. How to start a washing machine or dryer?

Using the simple badge reader

  1. Swipe your badge over the RFID reader and the machine will power on after a few seconds.
  2. You can freely use the washing machine or dryer.
  3. When you are finished and have removed your laundry from the machine, swipe your badge again over the RFID reader to turn off the machine. If the machine has automatically powered off, swipe again to unlock the door.
  4. Every quarter, Climkit sends you the invoice for the use of the machines. You can also receive the invoice via eBill or change your account settings for email delivery.

Using the badge reader with numeric keypad

  1. Swipe your badge over the numeric keypad of the RFID reader, enter the machine number to be activated, and press the ENTER key at the bottom right. The machine will power on after a few seconds.
  2. You can freely use the washing machine and dryer.
  3. When you are finished and have removed your laundry from the machine, swipe your badge again over the keypad, enter the machine number to deactivate, and press ENTER. If the machine has automatically powered off, repeat the operation in point 1 to unlock the door.
  4. Every quarter, Climkit sends you the invoice for the use of the machines. You can also receive the invoice via eBill or change your account settings for email delivery.

Important notes

  • Once powered on, it may be necessary to activate the washing machine or dryer from their control panel.
  • One hour after the end of the wash or dry cycle, the session will close automatically and the machine will power off. If the door is locked and you cannot retrieve your laundry, follow the instructions above to start a session.
  • Once you have finished, always ensure to close the current session. Never use a machine without starting a session with your badge. If a machine is on, even if empty, it means a session is ongoing by another user.
  • Only the user who started a session can end it using the same badge used to start it.
  • If you do not close the session and another user uses the machines afterwards, their usage will be recorded on your account and billed to you.

2. Request a badge

You can request an RFID badge at any time by writing to service@climkit.io.

In case of loss, please send the information to the same address so the lost badge can be deactivated.
