Building laundry room
1. How to start a washing machine or a tumble dryer?
Using the simple RFID reader

- Hold your RFID badge over the RFID reader and the machine will power on after a few seconds.
- You can freely use the washing machine or the tumble dryer.
- When finished and you have removed your laundry from the machine, hold your badge over the RFID reader again to power off the machine. If the machine has powered off automatically, hold your badge over it again to unlock the door.
- Climkit sends you the invoice for the use of the machines every quarter. You can also receive the invoice via eBill or change the settings in your account for email delivery.
Using the RFID reader with a numeric keypad

- Hold your badge over the numeric keypad of the RFID reader, enter the machine number to start and press the ENTER key at the bottom right. The machine will power on after a few seconds.
- You can freely use the washing machine and the tumble dryer.
- When finished and you have removed your laundry from the machine, hold your badge over the keypad again, enter the machine number to stop and press ENTER. If the machine has powered off automatically, repeat the operation in point 1 to unlock the door.
- Climkit sends you the invoice for the use of the machines every quarter. You can also receive the invoice via eBill or change the settings in your account for email delivery.
Important notes
- Once powered on, it may be necessary to activate the washing machine or tumble dryer from its control panel.
- One hour after the end of the washing or drying cycle, the session closes automatically and the machine powers off. If the door is locked and you cannot retrieve your laundry, follow the instructions above to start a session.
- Once you have finished, make sure to always close the current session. Never use a machine without starting a session with your badge. If a machine is on, even empty, it means a session is active by another user.
- Only the user who started a session can end it with the same badge used to start it.
- If you do not close the session and another user uses the machines afterwards, their consumption will be recorded on your account and billed to you.
2. Requesting a badge
You can request an RFID badge at any time by writing to service@climkit.io.
In case of loss, please send the information to the same address so that the lost badge can be deactivated.
