1. How to start a washing machine or dryer?
From the simple badge reader
- Swipe your RFID badge on the reader and the machine will power on after a few seconds.
- You can freely use the washing machine or the dryer.
- When you are finished and have removed your laundry from the machine, swipe your badge on the RFID reader again to turn off the machine. If the machine has powered off automatically, swipe again to unlock the door.
- Every quarter, Climkit will send you the bill for the use of the machines. You can also receive the bill via eBill or change the settings in your account for email delivery.
From the badge reader with numeric keypad
- Swipe your badge on the numeric keypad of the RFID reader, enter the machine number to activate and press the ENTER key at the bottom right. The machine will power on after a few seconds.
- You can freely use the washing machine and the dryer.
- When you are finished and have removed your laundry from the machine, swipe your badge on the keypad again, enter the machine number to deactivate and press ENTER. If the machine has powered off automatically, repeat the operation from point 1 to unlock the door.
- Every quarter, Climkit will send you the bill for the use of the machines. You can also receive the bill via eBill or change the settings in your account for email delivery.
Important notes
- Once powered on, it may be necessary to activate the washing machine or dryer from their control panel.
- One hour after the end of the washing or drying cycle, the session will close by itself and the machine will power off. If the door is locked and you cannot retrieve your laundry, follow the instructions above to start a session.
- Once you have finished, ensure that you always close the current session. Never use a machine without starting a session with your badge. If a machine is on, even if empty, it means that a session is ongoing by another user.
- Only the user who started a session can end it with the same badge used to start it.
- If you do not close the session and another user uses the machines afterwards, their usage will be recorded on your account and you will be charged for it.
2. Request a badge
You can request an RFID badge at any time by writing to service@climkit.io.
In case of loss, please send the information to the same address to deactivate the lost badge.
