Creating/editing a billing point

Nicolas Vodoz Updated by Nicolas Vodoz

  1. Navigate to Site > Administration > Billing points.
  2. In the section for the chosen building, click the + button to add a billing point.
  3. Fill in the following fields:
    1. Name: Identifier for the energy consumption location recognizable by the owner or their proxy, for example, the apartment number and floor, or the location of a charging station.
A billing point must never refer to the name of an account (natural person) but always to a site entity such as an apartment or parking space. Therefore, it cannot be named after the person currently occupying the corresponding apartment.
    2. Building: Building in which the billing point is located
    3. Assignment: Based on the type of occupancy
    4. Surface area or thousandth
    5. Billing point activated: If checked, its consumption is accounted for and billed
    6. Consumer billing: Check if the point has consumption to be billed.
    7. Included in expense statement: If checked, the billing point is used for the allocation of general expenses.
    8. Self-consumption priority: Default is 0; if a larger number is used, solar electricity is prioritized for this billing point.
  4. To edit, click the name of the billing point. You can rename the billing point at any time if necessary, for example, to correct it (e.g., apartment number) or to provide more detail.
