This article describes the on-site installation of RFID readers. For the equipment to function, configuration on the Climkit platform is also required. Links are available at the end of the document.
RFID Badge Reader Installation
- Open the front cover of the badge reader using the 4 cross-head screws.
- Affix the casing to the wall and drill a hole for the Ethernet/RJ45 cable pass-through.
- Plug the RJ45 connector into the device port and the PoE switch.
- Reassemble the front cover of the device, checking that the sealing gasket is correctly positioned.
