Install the heat and water meters
This article describes the on-site installation of heat and water meters. For the equipment to function, configuration on the Climkit platform is also required, which is usually carried out by our teams.
Connection of water and heat meters
- Install the heat and water meters according to the manufacturer's and supplier's instructions.
- Connect the M-Bus port of each meter to the RS485-MBus converter according to the instructions in Install the M-Bus converter.
- Organize a commissioning with the meter supplier to verify that each meter is correctly installed and is recording the energy or volume consumed.
- Send the commissioning protocols to Climkit so that each meter can be added to the platform and read by the Climkit gateway.
