Commissioning Quick Guide

A Climkit project consists of various devices (meters, charging stations, RFID readers, relays...) installed in the electrical panel or elsewhere in the building, and connected to a central Gateway (communication gateway).

The Gateway communicates locally with the various devices and transmits the collected information to the Climkit portal via an internet connection.

Here is the general procedure for configuring and commissioning a Climkit project.

  1. Creation of a site on the Climkit portal
    Log in to your installer account at app.climkit.io. To add a new site, click on the plus button (+) to create a site and fill in the form to proceed. If necessary, request your credentials from service@climkit.io.
  2. Add a router
    If a router is installed, it must be added to the site.
  3. Add a gateway
    As with the router, the installed gateway must be added so that it transmits the collected data to the correct location.
  4. Configure the meters
    Once the gateway is added to the site, the gateway will automatically retrieve its configuration from the portal and thus the list of meters from which it must read and transmit data.
    It is therefore necessary to add and configure the meters, specifying on which gateway they are physically connected.
  5. Add other devices
    Generally, charging stations and RFID readers are commissioned by a Climkit technician. Nevertheless, detailed procedures are available under Advanced Configuration.
  6. Announce technical commissioning for validation
    Once everything is installed and commissioned, notify Climkit so that we can verify that everything is working correctly. This validates the technical implementation.
  7. Transmit the owner's contact details
    Once the technical commissioning is complete, send the contact details of the owner or their property management company to Climkit to organize the administrative setup (contract, resident list, etc.).
